(Tasks that need to be done show up on your calendar and emails that need to be sent show up under that in the alerts section on your dashboard.)

Yes! And you should. Go to the Job Listings page and click on the job you want to upload a resume for. You will see a button that says upload resume. Once you save changes on the page, you can download a copy of that resume at any time you would like.

Since you enter the jobs yourself, you can use any job board that you like. We normally recommend that you only use 4 to 5 job boards so that your inbox doesn’t become a full-time job to manage. LinkedIn should be on your list. After that we recommend one to two of the other major job boards like Indeed, Zip Recruiter, Nexxt, Glassdoor, SimplyHired, and CareerBuilder. The last one or two job boards should be a niche job board (boards that specialize in your job title or industry).

The alerts are reminders for you to follow up at different stages of the job search for different applications. As an example, you should always send out a follow up email if you haven’t heard back from an application after 2 weeks. So the Job Tracker app keeps track of the two week period and “alerts” you when it is time to follow up! This is really helpful when you have applied for many jobs. You can find the alerts at the bottom of your dashboard and you will also get an email reminder.

Unfortunately, this is not possible in today’s job search. The days of “we will keep your application on file” are basically gone. The reason for this is that most companies now use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and they only consider you for the job that you have actually applied for.

The job cards are moved from category to category by simply using the “drop and drag” feature. As you progress through the stages of the job search, you can easily move the cards.

Just go to the login page and you will see a button that says “lost password”. Please click on that and it will walk you through resetting the password and send you an email.

This way you quickly identify what the most important concepts are in a block of text. They are extremely helpful in the job search if you drop in the description text, you can see what skills and tasks are most important to the hiring manager.

Absolutely. Just go to the “Job Listings” tab and find the job card of the job you want to download the resume from. Click on that card to open the job information. Look for the resume near the bottom and you will see a button that says “download resume”.
